“Camping Le Montant” is a human-sized campsite since it only has a total of 135 pitches including 60 rentals (houses / lodges / chalets / mobile homes).
When the campsite is full, we are around 500 people on the structure but on about 11 hectares of nature.
We offer a daily bread deposit on site, a bar and a restaurant (6 days a week in high season).
A grocery store is also available on site, but this is only a convenience store.

The campsite is remarkably close to Sarlat, but we do not recommend it as there are no walking paths or pedestrian lanes on the entire route. It will be more comfortable for you to take your vehicle and possibly park in the first car parks at the entrance to Sarlat.
From 15/07 to 15/08, due to the notoriety of the city of Sarlat, access to the city is complicated.

It is quite possible to go to Sarlat by bike, but it is important to know that the four-star “Camping Le Montant” is on the heights of Sarlat. Advice to beginners and children alike, returning from a visit to the city of Sarlat may therefore prove difficult due to a long and difficult climb.
Children must be at least 5 years old to participate in the mini club’s activities.
It is difficult to set an early age and an end age because all children are different and evolve at a pace of their own.
The most important thing is to know that this children’s club is not a daycare and that its proper functioning is based on the desire and will of the children.
The activities are very varied (herbarium, salt paste, pearl activity, treasure hunt, water games, drawing competitions, etc.) and can also interest older children. We usually take care of a group of children ranging from 6 years to 10/12 years depending on the activities proposed.
“Camping Le Montant” in Sarlat offers this free service from July 1 to August 31.
